This is the colour inspirational photograph for the challenge at The Play Date Cafe this week its colour splash week and the colours are:
'Color Splash' actually means 'black & white with a touch of color'.
What we ask of our color splash challenges
is that you literally stick to 'black & white with the
required splash of color' and this week, it's
pink, copper or gold"
As you can see I have chosen pink as my splash colour. The outside white panel has been embossed with my new border folder. I then stamped the Hero Arts Poppy Background onto black card and embossed with white. I cut with the oval nesties and glued on some pink seed beads to the flower head.

ReplyDeleteGreat card love the stamping onto black and embossing with white stunning! How great is that stamp - so versatile! I was thinking of entering this challenge too but haven't yet made a card but seeing your great card has got me itching to create!

ReplyDeleteWow, Sally, this is awesome! Great technique in that reverse stamping, almost like an X-ray! And that embossing is fantastic, I've not seen anything like that design before!
