Recently I have been trying to improve my skills with digital images, I found this pretty Petunia image over at Tiffany Doodles and it was perfect to play around with. I have opened the image in word and added a background to it before printing it out and colouring with copics. I have also added a bit if shimmer to the flower centers before adding a copic coloured pearl. I also decided to cut the flower image slightly larger than the card for a bit more interest.
I am looking forward to next week as its half term, hopefully time for lots of crafting. Have a great Bank Holiday weekend.

These are really pretty Sally. Love the digi background and the petunia. The monochromatic card is beautiful too. I espcially like the texture of the the background and the framing.
ReplyDeleteTWO beauties today, Sally! Love them both......I need lessons on digital stamping - want to fly over here and help me?
ReplyDeleteHi Sally! I love the image on your first card, so beautifully coloured in! I have no idea how you added a background behind your image, you are way ahead of me here! Love, love your second card! I never knew that distress ink was so beautiful! It gives the card such an antique look, I really like it! Your flower is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these Sally. Love the way you extended the panel behind the card on the first one. The second is so elegant in the white and creamy ink.
ReplyDeleteUuuhhh Sally - so many beautiful cards since my last visit! Love them all...........
