Time to craft!!






























I have at last found time to do some crafting, my daughter went back to Uni today and Hubby and son are engrossed in the football on TV.  Yipee time to myself!!!   I have created this card for the challenge over at A Blog Named Hero using their logo as colour inspiration!

A very simple CAS card but I had fun getting inky.  I created the squares by using a small acrylic block, distress ink and some water, I love the marbled effect it creates.  Next I stamped the heart and coloured in some of the flowers with my Worn Lipstick Distress marker. Next just the pearls and sentiment, I thought this would make quite a nice Valentine card.

















I hope to make a few cards over the next few weeks, as long as the football is on I am on to a winner!!!

    Love it! I've been meaning to try the block-inking for ages but...I'd have to clean the blocks first *blush*
    I think it's perfect for a Valentine - but really perfect for any time. It's gorgeous!
