A Pin Therein!!

Its been quite a while since I had time to play over at the Moxie Fab Blogs "Tuesday Trigger"  but once I saw this cute pincushion with the sweet hexagons I had to have a go.  I love the chintzy material and that inspired me to use some scraps of chintzy paper ( a great way to use scraps!!)  Unfortunately I don't have a hexagon die so I just used a computer art program  to print off a shape and then I used it a blank!

I have used a piece of felt for the middle so I could stick the pins through.

This is the last weekend of my summer holiday and I am back to work on Tuesday, the six weeks have flown by and I am really not looking forward to going back to school!!

  14. Lovely card Sally. Great idea with sticking the pins into the felt. I was uncomfortable with the pins sticking out, so I tucked mine in!

  15. superb Sally.. Using a template to cut out your hexagons reminded me of making my first simple quilts ~ cutting paper templates and cutting material to fold around them and stitch together.
