Die cuts and Embossing!


 My Christmas card making is now in full swing and I am pulling out all my older stamps ( I really need some new stamps LOL ).  This tree and sentiment are both older Hero Arts and the lovely scalloped die is from Simon Says. I have embossed the tree and sentiment with gold for a shimmer.



I needed a label for a Birthday present again this stamp is an older Hero Arts one, the background is made using the Wax Embossed Resist technique which Gina shows to perfection here.  I have used the Simon Says Stitched Square dies to cut the shapes carefully positioning them to make rectangles, such a great way to stretch your dies further.

I will add both the tag and card to the current Wednesday challenge "CAS" at Simon Says and the Simon Says Flickr Challenge "Emboss it ".
