Melon, Green and White!

Another busy week so another quick post I am afraid :(  These are the colours for this weeks Play Date Cafe Challenge and they have been set by Julie, a twist on the usual Red, Green and White for Christmas the colours are Green, White and Melon.  Had a job to find anything melon in my stash but I eventually found some PP from "Cratepaper" which is a melony shade!

This stamp is from Hero Arts, I have stamped with Peeled paint Distress ink and also smudged some bundled sage over the trees. Next I used a versamark pen and highlighted the branch edges and then embossed with white for a snow effect. I have also added some stickles for a little sparkle.
Sorry must rush, I will hopefully be back tomorrow with a small giveaway!

  7. Hello Sally
Iam Sue from N.Z. I just wanted to make a comment on your Christmas tree card. I was really taken with the colour combination, the pale green with the melon looks amazing, I would not have thought to use the colours together, I may have to to see if I can come up with something similar.
    Smiles:)
