Another Slimline!!

Getting my mojo going so decided to make another slimline card for the SSS Flickr Challenge again using a piece of stamped card from my scrap basket.  I had stamped and embossed in clear the Cosmos flower background from Simon Says on some card smooshed with Distress Oxide inks.  I had graduated the colours so cut the three pieces to go behind my windows.

I then added the flowers and leaf cut using the Arched Leaf  and Flower Blooms die.  The sentiment is a foiled set from Spellbinders.

Its good to use pieces from my scraps as the basket is rather full at the moment!!

Girly Birthday!

Still struggling with my mojo but needed a girly Birthday card,  I used different sets of stamps to create this card.  The dog is from an older Sugar Peas set called "Caring Critters" and the balloons from the Simon Says set "Critter Crowd".  I stamped coloured with zigs and fussy cut all the elements.  Used the SSS Happy Birthday circle and stuck the pieces on the inner circle.  The background paper is years old but perfect for this girly card.

I am adding this card to both the Simon Says Flickr challenge and the Love handmade cards Flickr Challenge , both are "Anything Goes" this time!

Hope you are all staying at home and keeping safe, here in the UK we have been blessed with some really good weather so I am finding getting in the garden really therapeutic. Fingers crossed we can get back to some normality very soon.

Spring Flowers!!

During this lockdown and isolation period I have been spending alot of time in the garden, weeding and watching the Spring flowers making an appearence.  It gave me some inspiration to make a card and I have used the Simon Says "Even more Spring Flowers" set.

I stamped then coloured in bright colours with my Zig Markers then fussy cut them all out.  Next I layered them all on a die cut rectangle and added the sentiment.

I shall add this card to the current SSS Flickr Challenge "Happy Spring" and the SSS Wednesday Challenge "Happy Birthday".

Hope you are all keeping safe.

Happy Crafting.

Spring Flowers!

With everything that's going on in the world at the moment my mojo has been severely lacking,  at last I have made a card using my new Simon Says Birthday die and some older stamps from the "Spring Flowers" collection.

I die cut the sentiment in gold and added a patterned paper center. next I stamped and embossed the flower in gold and coloured with my Zig markers.  I then fussy cut and layered up on the front of a die cut blank.

I also layered the square on some matching pink card.

I shall add this card to the Simon Says Flickr Challenge "Happy Spring" and also the Simon Says Wednesday challenge "Anything Goes".

Stay Safe everyone.

Bouquet of Flowers!

Got out my Simon Says "Spring Flowers" stamp set to make another card for my stash,  I created the background using splotches of Zig markers on some water colour paper and lots of water.

Next I embossed the flowers in silver coloured and fussy cut, I then layered up some of the flowers and then glued to the background card.  Adding a die cut SSS sentiment,

I will add this card to both the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and also the Simon Says Flickr Group challenge.

Enjoy your week.
