New Stamps!!
I was lucky enough to win the Simon Says Flickr group challenge a couple of weeks ago and received my new stamps this week. I couldn't wait to ink them up. This is the "Centre Cut Flowers" cling stamp.
I have embossed in white then coloured with Zig Markers. Used the SSS Square cut dies to form the layers and the Thanks die is also Simon Says. Had fun colouring this , I am sure its going to become a favourite.
I shall enter this in the latest Flickr Challenge, which is "Crazy for Colour".
Now to play with my other new stamp.
Have a great week.

Spring Flowers!
My mojo has been absent lately so after browsing through Pinterest and Instagram I decided to do some colouring and make a Spring card. I found an old sheet of PP in my stash with this lovely dripped paint design and used that as my base and the theme for my colours choices.
The stamp set is the "Even more Spring Flowers" from Simon Says which I stamped and embossed in WOW gold, I then coloured with Zig Markers and fussy cut.
Next I layered on my card base and added splashes of gold paint. Hopefully my mojo is back again as I had two male Birthdays next week that I need to make cards for. Male cards are always a challenge lol!
I am adding this card to the Simon Says Flickr Group challenge "Anything Goes".

In the Pink!!
Another card for the current SSS Flickr Challenge "Stencil it", I was inspired by this pretty card by Rosali realizing that I could use my "Falling Snow" stencil on any card!! I love the effect it has created. I stamped and embossed in silver the Cosmos Flower background and coloured with Zig Markers. I then added a few leaves from Altenew's "Beautiful Day Stamp set. I then distressed the edge of my card and used the stencil to create the dots. Fussy cut the image to fit the corner of my card. and cut the whole thing with SSS Stitched Square Die.
Had fun with this one and it proves that this stencil can be so versatile!
Also adding this card to the LOVE homemade cards Flickr Challenge,
Hope you have a creative and relaxing weekend.

I have heat embossed in gold coloured with Zig Markers and then fussy cut all the flowers.
I then layered up on this gold embossed Lattice Die from Memory Box. Love this stamp and I am sure its going to get lots of use!!

My Guest Designer Slot!!!
I love to take part in challenges as it stretches my creativity, making me try new things! One of my favourite challenges to take part in is the one at the Simon Says Stamp Flickr group so I was thrilled when I was approached by Barb to be the Guest Designer for the #107 challenge "Do it with Dimension".
Well as you can imagine I set to work straight away and came up with these cards.
For my first card I decided to make a shaker (Love making these) I used the SSS Stitched Square dies to create the frame. The flowers are from the SSS "Spring Flowers " which I stamped, embossed in silver, coloured with Zigs and fussy cut, layering up to create lots of dimension. Always love a bit of bling lol!
My second card again used the "Stitched Square dies" and the " Cosmos Flower Background" , I stamped the flowers with Distress ink then cut the squares. I then coloured the central square with my Zigs and layered up on a white frame. Added the " Thanks" die cut and some sequins for sparkle.
For my last card I went with a Christmas theme as I have loads to make in the next few months. For this card I used the "Kaleidoscope Background" stamping and embossing once in gold and again in white. I fussy cut four of the flower shapes from the white image and coloured with a red Zig pen, then layering two together to form a flower. After die cutting the gold image I then layered on the red flowers adding a pearl for shimmer.
I really enjoyed making these cards and hope that maybe you will find time to play along with this challenge.
Have a great week.

I was lucky enough to win a bunch of stamps and dies from Debby's De Stash giveaway and this "lemonade" stamp set from Simon Says was part of the goodies. I was waiting for the right opportunity to ink it up and the current "Summertime Fun "Flickr Challenge at Simon Says was the perfect challenge!! Used Mustard Seed yellow distress ink for my lemons and the Wonky Rectangle die is also Simon Says.
With all the sport on I have found myself in the craft room quite a bit and have made this card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (Red, White and/or Blue) The stamp is "Beautiful Day by Altenew and I watercoloured with Zig Brush markers. just added the sentiment and all done.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend

Flowery Shaker!!
I had fun making my "Monkey Shaker "card and decided to make another but more feminine, this is what I came up with!
Used the large bloom from the Simon Says Stamp "Spring Flowers" stamp set and stamped and embossed in silver three times fussy cutting and layering up to create this larger bloom as I did here.
The leaves and flowers were coloured with Zig Brush markers, I love these pens.
I am adding this card to a couple of challenges The Simon Says Flickr Group Challenge and the Die Cut Divas Challenge.
Loved making this Shaker I am sure you are going to see more!!

Pretty in Pink!!
We have had some really bad weather here in Dorset, snow and freezing rain which is very rare for this part of the country. I have been stuck indoors as the roads and pavements are sheet ice and its too dangerous to go out. So what's a girl to do, make cards of course!!
Here is one I made using the "Kaleidoscope Background" stamp from Simon Says and die cuts letters from, Altenew. I stamped and embossed in white then watercoloured with Zig Brush Markers, I then fussy cut an extra shape to add some dimension before adding the Die cut "Hi"and sentiment.
Here is a close up , I am adding this card to two challenges, the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge
Thought I would also share this card again using the Altenew "Bold Alphabet Dies", this card is for my Goddaughters little boy who is five today. It was very easy to make with the die cut letters and balloons cut using my Silhouette machine. Love this simple design.
Before I go here is a couple of views from the front of my house, so pretty but so cold and the sky is full of more snow!!
Hope its warm where you are

Get Well cards
I have been really busy over the past few days and have found no time to craft, but I was eager to take part in the challenge at the Simon Says Flickr group with the theme this time of "Dots or Stripes". Yesterday I at last found some time and made these two cards. I had run out of get well cards, my 98 year old Aunt is in hospital and as we live so far away I like to send her a card every week to let her know I am thinking of her.
This first card is using the Simon Says Square Stitched Dies, the Striped stamp is "Canvas Stripes " from Hero Arts and the flower is from Honey Bee stamps. I have coloured the flower with Zig Markers and then fussy cut.
The second card also uses the "Square Stitched" dies from Simon Says and also their "Stitched Scalloped" die. The flowers are Altenew's "Painted Flower" stamp fussy cut and layered on Pop Dots. Need to get this one in the post today.
Have a great week

Another shaped card.
I wanted to play again with the "Painted Flower" stamp set from Altenew, I really like the soft effect you can create with this stamp. I have used the same method as for this card only I decided this time to make a shaped card. I have coloured the flowers with Zig Brush Markers as you can create a very delicate colour.
I am adding this card to the Simon Says Wednesday challenge"Showers and / or Flowers"
Just a short post as I need to get into the garden, have a great weekend.

For this first card I have stamped and embossed in gold and then fussy cut all the images. I then stamped the flower with distress inks and coloured the remaining elements with Copics. The sentiment die is by Simon Says. I am really pleased with this stamp set and know I will be using it loads!!!
I am adding this card to three challenges, the first at the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "For a Special Lady" The second is the Simon Says Flickr Group challenge#66 "Colouring" and lastly the Flickr Group Love Handmade Cards "Spring" Challenge.

Birthday Flowers.
Another quick play with that "Spring Flower" set from Simon Says, there really are so many possibilities!! This time I have stamped and embossed in gold onto watercolour paper before colouring with my Zig Brush markers. The purple flower has been fussy cut and pop dotted for some added dimension. I then added the die cut sentiment and some pearls, simple but effective.
Such a lovely day here, we have just been out for a 3 mile walk in the countryside and spotted these beautiful snowdrops, Spring is on the way !!!
I shall add this card to the Wednesday challenge at Simon Says "Fantastic Florals" and the "Anything Goes" challenge at the Simon Says Flickr page.

Spring Flowers
I have been absent from my craft room for a week as our daughter has been visiting during half term. I did get to play today and as this stamp set from Simon Says was still on my desk I had to ink it up. I have stamped and embossed the flowers in white, then coloured with my Zig Brush markers. Then I fussy cut all the flowers and leaves. I added a die cut frame and popped it on foam for dimension then individually added the flowers and leaves plus some pearls to finish,
Its warming up a bit in Dorset and there are signs of spring arriving, looking forward to all the Spring flowers.
I am adding this card to the current Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Fantastic Florals".

New Stamps!!
I have a new stamp set from Simon Says called Spring Flowers and I have been having fun all weekend playing with it. Here is a simple design that I have coloured with Zig Brush markers, the flowers also have lots of sparkle as I have added a Wink of Stella to them (hard to see in the photo). I have also added some splashes of colour and sequins. The love sentiment is also from Simon Says.
This card is for both the Simon Says current Flickr challenge "Love is in the air" and the Wednesday Blog challenge "Colour of Love".
This red heart is from a gorgeous box of chocolates I received last year from Hubby, I had to save it as it is so pretty and perfect as a prop for Valentines!!

Love you!
I was lucky enough to win some goodies from Simon Says last month and as soon as they arrived I had to have a play. The flower are made using the Simon Says "Spring Flower " set inked and embossed in white and the coloured with Zig brush markers. I then fussy cut them out. The striped on the Kraft card is a really old stamp from Hero Arts called "Canvas Stripes" I have stamped it using white pigment ink. The square dies and the love die are all part of my prize. I have just added some white dashes to the Love word using a white gel pen to match the dashes on the flowers.
I have curled the petals for some added dimension before gluing to my card.
I am adding this card to two current challenges. The Flickr "Love Handmade Cards" groups February challenge (Hearts and Flowers) and also Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Colour of Love".
Hope you have a great weekend.

Crafty time at last!
Happy New Year to you all, hope you had a great break, unfortunately I got a nasty cold just after New Year which affected my crafty mojo. Hopefully its back now and I am feeling a lot better too.
I was lucky enough to win some stamps from Honey Bee just before Christmas and they arrived this week, I couldn't wait to ink them up and here are the two cards I have made. This first one has been coloured with my Zig watercolour markers, I loved colouring this pretty design. I shall enter these cards into ABNH "Anything Goes " challenge and also the Simon Says "New Something "challenge.
The second design has been coloured with Stabilo pens and copics, the sentiment is from Hero Arts.
I have also entered this card into the LOVE -Handmade Cards flickr group challenge, "Anything Goes"
I just thought I would show you my other crafty project that I have been working on, a picture made from sea glass that I have collected from the local beach. The beach near us is Lyme Regis and it is very famous for being on the Jurassic coast line, lots of fossils are found on the beach here especially ammonites so my design is based on an ammonite.

A thank you and two more shakers!!
I am still playing along with the 30 day colouring challenge over at Kathy's blog and have three cards here to bring me up to date. This Thankl You card is an old Hero Arts stamp and I have coloured it with Zig markers. The sentiment is a die from Lawn Fawn.
Now I have two more shaker cards using an old Penny Black stamp and an older Hero Arts Snowman. I love making shaker cards for Christmas, its all that extra sparkle!! I have used some Avery Elle dies to create my windows for both these cards. I am adding these to the Simon Says Wednesday challenge "Christmas to Die for."
We are off back to Surrey this weekend for a family get together, I am really excited. Hope your weekend is relaxing.
