Love the snow

I love these snowy days, we live out in the country and the School I work in has been closed for three days now due to the snow and Ice. Some teachers and pupils have to travel quite a distance to school so the headteacher has decided that its to dangerous to travel. It means I have had a lot more time in my craft room this week, Yipee!!! Here are three of the cards I have made using two of the new Hero Arts stamps I got before Christmas.

Love this Wheat Grass stamp, I wanted to try to make it look like a sky and setting sun. I am quite pleased with the result. The backing paper is an old piece from my stash that has watermarked butterflies on it.

Just playing around with the digital butterfly kit from Hero Arts. Watched Jennifer McGuires video on quick colouring and had to have a go.

This is using my Row of Houses stamp from Hero Arts. I found the sentiment on the internet and thought it fitted the card beautifully.
I am off now to do some more colouring, hope you are all keeping warm!!

These are all beautiful Sally! That butterfly really looks wonderful with the dots. I have been walled up in my craftroom too... not sure how I will cope with having to go back to work on Monday! Jo x

Isn't it fun to have the time to just play? I love everything you've created here! I guess the first one is my favorite, but just by a hair :) Love that mix of images and colors. Well done!

Fantastic cards! The sentiment is perfect for the row of houses and love how you used it under the houses like the road! The grassy scene is so lovely and one of my favorites! The colored butterfly is gorgeous and lovely design! Enjoy your extra time off.
