I had planned to do lots of crafting this week but although I am on holiday from work I have not had a lot of spare time. I did however find time to have a try at
this colouring technique that Betsy Veldman featured on her blog and I used it to make this card for
The Lily Pad colour palette challenge. A fun technique to do although I found that the flower leaves needed more definition so I coloured a little with my distress markers.
Hopefully I will get more time to play at the weekend.

Wow! Sally, was für eine geniale Idee ist das denn?!
Super!
Das sieht so toll aus.
Man könnte diese Karte auch gut für Ostern verwenden.
Klasse!

Gorgeous, Sally! Love the leaves & paper rose, and of COURSE your marvelous stamping :) Funny how vacations get away from us...we have to do a big spring clean-up this weekend (that was supposed to start over Easter weekend with time off) so I hear you :)
You used the colors of the challenge so beautifully, Sally! Love the way that image looks, die cut into an oval - so pretty! Thanks for playing with us at Lily Pad Cards! :)
I think this is one of my favorite cards of yours, Sally! It reminds me of my chintz fabric or Chinese enameling! Framed by the embossed cardstock - it's perfect! Hugs, Marcy
