At Last Summer Has Arrived!!!

At last summer has arrived in the UK and we have had three glorious days of sunshine, so I have been able to get in the garden.  I did have time to make this card though inspired by the fabulous weather and using my new Picnic set from Hero Arts, thanks again Heather.  I shall be entering this into this months Hero Arts challenge.

Here are a few shots of part of my garden, although the weather has been terrible my pots have done really well and the geraniums are spectacular!

I will be making the most of the sun as it looks like its on the change again next week.

Love the card - how clever to use the doily as your sun!

Unfortunately, here in the States we have had way too much summer - really hot and not a lot of rain!

Enjoy your summer!

Love the fun kite, Sally! Soak up that sun while you can :) At least let the webbed toes dry out a little (that's what we always used to joke in Vancouver). Hopefully you get a little more nice weather than you're expecting!

Beautiful all around Sally! I love the embossed clouds, such a cool effect! Those potted plants are beautiful, you are inspiring me to maybe get green fingers!

What a great design Sally! Love the doily sun and how you used the magical bg for your sky! Thanks for sharing the pics of your flowers! Sadly we haven't had enough rain and I have struggled to keep my potted plants alive:(
