Two Birthdays.

I needed two Birthday cards so set to work,  like lots of people I find masculine cards hard to make but as it is a 60th I decided to focus on the numbers which I cut with my Silhouette machine.  I then added the motor bike images using an older Hero Arts set called "Going".  Quite easy straight forward in the end!

This second card I found a lot easier as flowers and girly are definitely my thing!  I have made a few of these smaller square cards lately and like the finishes result.  The frame is cut using the Simon Says Stitched Square dies.  The flowers are also Simon Says from the "Spring Flowers" set.  I have stamped and embossed in white, coloured with Zig Markers  and then fussy cut.  The flower heads and leaves are pop dotted for added dimension.
I am adding both these cards to the Simon Says Wednesday challenge which this week is "Happy Birthday".

Have a great week.
Hugs
Sally

Both cards are great, Sally, but girly cards are soooo much easier aren't they (and more fun too!) Jo x

Two wonderful bday cards, Sally! Just love the 60 window with the cycles on card one and your pink flowers on card two!

two beautiful cards Sally. Love the way you did the 60 on the card with the motor bikes. Great male card and of course, your beautiful flower card is stunning as well.

That birthday card is wonderful for any age or gender. I love the sparkle, it really makes the age stand out. Your flower card is just lovely. I really like the design and popped up flowers.
