Christmas Sparkle!!

We had a lovely week away last week house sitting for my cousin and feeding his menagerie of animals and birds. Here is one of his rescued owls a beautiful Tawny. He has 7 owls in total 3 Tawnys, 2 Barn Owls and 2 Little Owls.

Away for only a week but I missed my craft room and couldn't wait to get back to making my Christmas cards.  This first one is using Simon Says stamps and dies, love this Poinsettia image from the Winter Flowers set.  I have stamped and embossed in gold on both vellum and card, then fussy cut.  I coloured the leaves and flower with Copic Markers, adding some gold gems for lots of sparkle.

For my second card I stamped and embossed in gold three of the trees from the Simon Says Festive Trees set, I then coloured with Zig Brush Pens and added lots of pearls and gems to the circle tree. The sentiment is computer generated.

I shall add these cards to both the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "All that Glitters is Gold" and also the SSS Flickr Group Challenge #110 Lets Colour.

Happy Wednesday !!
Hugs
Sally

Oh these are gorgeous Sally! The background on your poinsettia card is so pretty and the poinsettia looks fab embossed in gold and layered in red and vellum. What a beautiful trio of Christmas trees too with the gorgeous gold embossing and various shades of green.

The tawny owl is so cute - a fun and busy experience I'm sure looking after your cousin's mnagerie!

Such pretty cards as usual! That would be fun to see all the owls he has. I miss my crafty stuff when I am gone too.
