What I love about being part of the blogging community is that everyone is so friendly and also happy to share different techniques they have discovered with other crafters. Yesterday was World Cardmaking Day and I was visiting my DD in Taunton, (we had so much fun catching up and doing a bit of shopping together.) so unable to make a card.
Well this morning I have been busy trying to catch up with peoples blogs from yesterday and came across this stunning card by the very talented Mel ( I have been watching her blog for a while now).
I love the background effect she has created to look like its snowing so of course had to give it a try.
I love this effect, it looks so pretty in real life.
Thanks Mel!
Well its another beautiful day here so I am off to the garden to relax. Hope you are enjoying your Sunday.
Supplies : Hero Arts Stamp E5245 small snowman. Clear and white embossing powder.

This is fantastic, Sally. Fabulous how you were so bold with the snowiness-Love the contrast and the big dots ever so much. And that sweet snowman with the buttons... the funky stitching...the big scallop shaped card... it's all Gorgeous! Thanks so much for your lovely words & for inspiring me right back!
Great card and thanks for the link to Mel's blog. Looks a fun technique.. will keep it in mind.
I love Mel's blog too :) This technique is so perfect for Christmas cards & I can't wait to try it. Love the teeny buttons you've added to the snowman, and the perfect border stitching. So cute!
