Well we survived the storm!! It wasn't actually that bad in Surrey we seemed to miss most of the high winds and there are only a few trees down near here, the worst of the weather was a little further north and lots of houses are without power.
This oak tree came down in Shalford and a large poplar tree came down in our village.
I went with my daughter to visit her school and this tree was partially blocking the road on the way there.
With all the leaves being blown around I decided to play along with the Tuesday Trigger challenge over at Moxie Fab World "Enthralled with Fall" although as you can see from the photographs we don't have those gorgeous colours with our falling leaves.
My card is very simple as I don't have many leaf stamps, just an old Hero Arts , I stamped a few leaves onto some scrap card and coloured and cut out, then mounted them on foam dots for some texture.

Sally, I'm so glad to hear it wasn't too bad in your neck of the woods but it's a shame that those big trees came down during the storm.
Your card is gorgeous! Love your design and the beautiful coloured leaves! I love the way you popped some leaves for added dimension! Hope the weather is kinder to you for the rest of your holiday:)
Oh, Sally! I am glad that your neighborhood wasn't affected as badly as some of those others. High winds are so destructive and really scary when you live near big trees.
Your card is so beautiful; I love the way you placed the leaves around the lower right corner. Good luck in the challenge!
Oh, my goodness, Sally! I am so glad you weren't badly affected by that storm! Just saw it on the news here - very scary!
Love your gorgeous card! It's a fantastic take on the trigger!
Wow, those trees could have caused so much more damage...happy your area was not as bad, Sally.
On a brighter note, your card is amazing and a perfect match to the TT :)
Glad you made it safely through the storm. Saw it on the news tonight and it was incredible. Great card. The colours are so pretty.
Ouch. So sad to see trees come down. But the card is lovely--a beautiful swoosh of leaves, the way we like to see them fall.
I'm so glad you & yours are OK, Sally! Those type of storms are so scary to go through.
Gorgeous card - love the fussy-cut dimension!
Glad to hear you are safe and well after those storms Sally. My heart went immediately out to all the Hero friends 'over the pond.' As I type this we have a blustery fall New England day and it is lovely to sit protected inside to catch up on your lovely work!
Quite a storm, wow! Love your CAS card with those beautiful fall colours Sally.
