Stretching my Dies !!

I have just got the Simon Says "Modern Flowers Card Wrap Die" and I am trying to think of different ways to use it.  I remembered a while back that Jennifer McGuire used dies to emboss a card by using a silicone mat in her die cutter so had a go.  I embossed the die twice at the top and bottom of my card then blended over Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink.

I then gold embossed and coloured some flowers ( to look like Primroses)  using SSS "Artful Flower set" Just added my sentiment and some sequins and voila , love this look.  I shall be hunting through my dies to have another go at this technique!

I am adding this card to both the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Add some Texture" challenge  and also the Simon Says Flickr Group challenge "Anything Goes"

Looks like we might have some good weather at last next week, looking forward to getting out in my garden.  Have a great week.

Hugs
Sally

Beautiful card, Sally! I had to drop by to see what colors you used so soft and just gorgeous. I love this idea for the die. I have it and haven't used it yet because I haven't needed a lacy card. What a great idea. Can't wait to give this a try.
