Anniversary !

Made this simple Anniversary card today using the "Painted Flower" set from Altenew and gold embossing powder.  The Stitched Square cut die and sentiment are both from Simon Says.

I also layered up the panel on some glitter card for extra sparkle, then layered the sentiment onto foam tape before adding the pearls.  This would make a great wedding card too !

I am adding this to two challenges, the Simon Says Flickr group challenge "Embossing" and the Simon Says Wednesday challenge "Use more than one stamp"

Its a Bank Holiday weekend in the UK and the sun is shining, time to relax in the garden before watching the Monaco Grand Prix, 36 years ago we were there on our honeymoon so it has a special place in my heart!!

Hugs
Sally

This is a stunning card and makes a lovely anniversary or wedding card. Even a birthday card would be perfect. We have the Indianapolis 500 race today and a hot, hot day here. Happy anniversary to you and hubby.

what a pretty gold embossed background you created - just using part of a layered stamp gives such a wonderful effect - plus you did such a great job with the spacing - i always have to work really hard to get that technique to look good. lovely card, Sally!

So elegant Sally. Lovely card. I love the look of just using the outlines in the pretty gold embossing.
