Spring Flowers!

Decided to play along again with the "Arched Leaf and Flower Blooms" die from Simon Says, the weather has been wet and cold and I needed some spring flowers!

I die cut the flowers and leaves and coloured with Zig markers before splashing with some white gouache.  I placed the pieces onto a white piece of card that I had embossed with the SSS "Crystal Distortion " embossing folder. Next I layered up onto some lilac gingham cardstock and added the pearls and gold embossed sentiment.

I am adding this to both the Die cut Divas challenge for January "Flowers" and the Simon Says Flickr challenge "To Die For"

Looking forward to a few days away next week visiting my new granddaughter.  Have a great week.

Hugs

Sally

Have fun and nice cuddling with your new granddaughter.

Love all the pretty flowers. The splashed white gouache was a great idea for the flowers. The embossed white panel adds some nice subtle dimension and texture. Thanks for joining us at Die Cut Divas.
