More Texture!!

I have had fun playing with my new sizzix/Hero Arts embossing folder and stamp.  This is such a great concept, you use the stamp for your image and then the embossing folder fits perfectly over the stamped image to give the card texture.

I used the emboss resist technique on the stamped image and then sprayed with shimmer mist before running through the embossing folder.  I have made this card for the Lily Pad Texture challenge.

I went online to buy my embossing folder and stamp and would you believe it this other cute Penny Black stamp just fell into my basket!! I couldn't resist this cute elf image after seeing it featured on a few blogs and it was so simple to colour in.  A bit trickier to cut out though!!
Hope you are having a good week.

How impudent of that little elf to hop in your cart uninvited! Very elflike behaviour :)
I love both cards - the texture is just incredible. I hadn't heard of the combo stamp/folder, but I simply love how it looks & must keep an eye out for it. Love the shimmer in the background too - it looks like you used several colours? Gorgeous :)

Two stunning cards Saly, love the resist technique on your first card, and what an adorable image on your second. Love the glittler on her hat trim, and your colouring is beautiful!

loved your Elf card when I saw it on Flickr and it looks even better here. That embossing folder is super. Your red embossed trees are stunning as well.
