Last Thursday I ran a little card making class at home for a few work colleague's but we all got so carried away making up the samples I had made, that I forgot to take a photograph of everyone in action!! So instead here is a photo of the resulting mess after a fun evening.
The first card we tried was the wreath design, this was an easy one to start with as its only distress ink sprayed with water and stamped on to the card. Then you just add the buttons, ribbon and bling.
The second card was a bit more challenging as it has heat embossing and dry embossing, all the ladies that came were complete novices but they made some fabulous cards to take home.
All in all it was a real fun evening and they have already asked if I will do it again!!
The background trees are embossed with green metallic powder and then run through the embossing folder that had a little Tumbled Glass distress ink patted on to it. We tore strips of paper for the snow and added some sticles for shimmer. The trees have been stamped and embossed with Silver Sparkle.
Hope you are having a great weekend and are not to busy in the run up to Christmas!!

What a fun idea, Sally! Wonderful cards! Sounds like a great time!
these cards are so sweet...glad you had an awesome time...thanks for sharing..
what a fun evening you must have had Sally. Love the cards you did.
These are fabulous! And I always find that even with complete novices, getting to use the "fun stuff" like embossing (and especially embossing powder) is a big hit. It's crafty magic :) I love the designs you created - they're both stunning!
Hi Sally
Looks like you all had a great time making up your lovely cards - no wonder they want to do it again!! Crafting together with friends is always good fun.
Take care
Tina
