If you are looking for the Hero Arts Hostess Blog Hop post please go here.
I decided to dust off an old stamp and have a go at the current challenge over at A Blog Named Hero "Golden Oldie" The Lets Garden Silhouette stamp is one of my favourites and I thought it would look great against the new Looped Flower background stamp, one of my new favourites. I have stamped and embossed it in white then over stamped with the seasonal Spring Message stamp before distressing with Peeled Paint.
Then white trawling through Pinterest I found this fabulous Gift box tutorial and decided to have a go!!
I am really pleased with the finished result, I have not added any sentiments as I am not sure which occasion I am going to use it for.
I just thought I would post a view from my craft room window, we have had three days of snow, I am hoping for a snow day off school tomorrow, fingers crossed!!
I would also like to thank you for all the lovely comments I received on my Blog Hop Post, I loved reading each and every one of them.

I love the matching card and gift box Sally. I'm going to check out your link for the box- really cute!
That's a fair amount of snow out there! Hope you get your wish for a snow day so you can play!

Beautiful picture of the snow! We heard it is snowing in Holland too... here it has all gone but it is cold. Hope you are able to have a lovely free day tomorrow.
Also just love your creations! The sentiment of Spring is so lovely and your designs are beautiful!
I saw your set on Flickr and just had to drop by to get a better look:) I love it! And the photo out your window is beautiful. I love the snow. We haven't had any to speak of in the DC area, but the winter is not over yet!
What a sweet ensemble Sally!!! I really love the gift box and how you over stamped the spring def over the embossed image!! Hope your wish for a snow day comes true!! The snow has melted here but the temps have dropped considerably and the winds are so strong today:(. Good excuse to stay inside and craft:)
Fabulous card and gift box, Sally! Love the neutrals! My friend, in MN you'd never get a snow day with that little snow - LOL. I suppose you don't have a lot of equipment for dealing with it like we do. Happy Sunday - stay warm!
Beautiful mix of old and new stamps!
Love our card and the box, too. I'm already yearning for spring. We are going to have three days or so of very cold temps; not sure if the snow will come our way though.
I absolutely love these, Sally! Such a cute matching set :) I hope you get a snow day! That amount of snow wouldn't get you one here either, but there really is something wonderful about an unexpected day off!
When I taught many years ago, I used to wish for a snow day to break up the winter monotony!!!! At that time I lived in the south eastern USA and we didn't get many snow days!!!! I'll wish for one for you and say I love your card and gift bag and I love it when I can use an "oldie but goodie" too!
Both projects so pretty!
What a cute set Sally. And thanks for the link... I need a gift box for a DT project and this will be perfect. Love your snowy view. I don't get snow where I live so it's nice seeing it elsewhere. Hope you got your snow day and get an extra day to craft.
Sally, I love your card and a matching box. Such great colors and beautiful silhouette image looks so great white embossed. Thanks for joining us at A Blog Named Hero.
This oldie is a sweetie - Love, Love, Love what you did with it on the card and on the gift box! I especially love the softness of the colors.
Sally both projects are so elegant and so beautiful!!! Thanks for playing with us at A Blog Named Hero!!!
I love this set! You gave that stamp a fresh new look - very pretty embossed in white.

Did you get your day off school? Love the matching card and gift bag!
How gorgeous - your beautiful gift set would certainly make anyone's day! Jo x
What a lovely set!
What a beautiful set Sally! I love that image embossed and the softness of the colors! (Off to pin that box tutorial too!)
That's quite a bit of snow! My brother also sent me pictures from where he lives in the north of France and it's also quite bad!
Stay warm!
