Amethyst

On the Daring Cardmakers blog challenge this week there is a prize of a Martha Stewart butterfly punch donated by Craft Obsessions oh how I would love to win that punch! The challenge is "Amethyst" which is the birth stone for February. As its mothers day soon in the UK I have made this card. The flower is made after watching Dawn McVeys "poofy flowers" tutorial. These flowers are quite addictive.

Here is a close up of the flower. Papers are BasicGrey. I am looking forward to a crafty weekend, the forecast is for rain so I am not venturing far!

I’ve not seen these ‘poofy’ flowers before and they look lovely so think I may have to have a go at making some.
Beautiful card by the way…..I bet your mum will love it.

Thanks for joining the daring Cardmakers this week and good luck in the draw.
