I had a few spare moments today so thought I would make a couple of CAS cards for the current challenge over at the Hero Arts blog before the deadline on Thursday. This first one is using some cute little bee stamps from the Picnic set which I was lucky enough to win from Heather. Thanks again Heather!! As you can see this really is CAS the flowers are coloured and stamped using my Distress Markers and I have just added some glitter to the bee's wings.
Here are two cards with different sentiments, I am going to make a set for a gift. Such a simple design using Distress Stains on my stamps.
This is the last week of my holiday, six weeks has flown by and I am really not looking forward to going back to work!!

A card at last.
After spending time visiting some of my favorite blogs I think my mojo is on its way back, I have made a card for this months Hero Arts challenge using one of the sketches supplied. Its taken me all afternoon but at last I am feeling a bit more creative. The background is made by " kissing" the leaf and floral background and the friends definition stamp, then just added the memory box doily and HA butterfly plus the sentiment. Quite a simple card but hopefully I am now inspired!

Still no cards!!
I am still hunting for my mojo after my summer holiday in France. Instead I have been inspired to do some cooking, the French are the masters at making fabulous cakes and pastries, and every time I visited the Boulangerie for our morning croissants I was greeted with a mouthwatering display. Unfortunately I indulged far too much on holiday and now desperately need to diet!!! But before I do I wanted to have a go at making some fruit tarts myself, here they are not quite as good as the French ones but still very yummy.
I hope to make some cards over the weekend as I have a few birthdays coming up, its a long holiday weekend in the UK and as usual its going to rain so lets hope I can get inspired.

I am back from my holiday!
I have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Nice, France. What a stunning place I loved everything about it, the beautiful weather, the fabulous food and the scenery. Here are a few of my photos.
Its back to reality now, still washing and ironing to do but I will hopefully have time to visit a few blogs and catch up on flickr soon. I also need to find my mojo I think I left it in the South of France.

I'm off on Holiday!!!
I was asked by a friend to make a card for his wife's 50th Birthday, I had a free hand in the design the only stipulation was that I used green. I wanted to make something soft and romantic so the Italian Poetry background seemed perfect with the Heart Flourish. Its based on this card that I made a while back and was really pleased with. The butterflies have been lightly water coloured with distress inks and then covered with glossy accents. I then added lots of pearls and then layered it up on a background made with the Leaf and Floral Background stamp. The sentiment has been computer generated.
I am going to add this card to the challenge at A Blog Named Hero, the theme is freestyle.
This will be my last post for a couple of week as we are off on our holidays, we are going back to Nice in the South of France again this year, we all had such a great time last year and there are still places that we need to visit there. Before I go I must thank all my visitors again for leaving such lovely comments, I really appreciate you finding time to stop by my blog.

Olympic Gold!!!!
Although I wasn't lucky enough to get any tickets to the stadium events at the Olympics, the time trial road race took place only a few miles up the road from where I live. As its one of hubby's favourite sports we had to go and cheer them on..
Here are a few shots of the riders.
This is Bradley Wiggins, on his way to Olympic gold, he is fantastic and a British hero..
Here we are ready to cheer, luckily we found a back street where the crowd wasn't as big so we had a fabulous view.
This Olympics is so exciting that I have found little time to craft although I will have a card tomorrow that I have made for a friend
