Another Slimline!!

Getting my mojo going so decided to make another slimline card for the SSS Flickr Challenge again using a piece of stamped card from my scrap basket.  I had stamped and embossed in clear the Cosmos flower background from Simon Says on some card smooshed with Distress Oxide inks.  I had graduated the colours so cut the three pieces to go behind my windows.

I then added the flowers and leaf cut using the Arched Leaf  and Flower Blooms die.  The sentiment is a foiled set from Spellbinders.

Its good to use pieces from my scraps as the basket is rather full at the moment!!

Slimline card

Thinking of Spring and also new ways to use the "Arched leaf and flower " die from Simon Says. This time I have made a slimline card and  used the "Mini slimline windows" die for the frame which I have raised on sticky pads above tjhe gingham card.

cut and coloured all the flowers and leaves with zig marker, the butterfly is also a Simon Says die and I just found a scrap of patterned paper to match my colour scheme.

I was very lucky and hubby got me a Glimmer hot foil system for my birthday and I have made a batch of sentiments ready for my cards.  I love it and know hot foiling is going to be a fun addition to my cards.

I am adding this card to the Simon Says Wednesday challenge "Slimline cards" and also the Love Flickr group challenge "Anything Goes".

We have family visiting this weekend for my daughters birthday, so looking forward to lots of cuddles with baby Eva!!

Christmas Slimline card!

A slimline Christmas card for a couple of challenges!  For this card I die cut my white slimline blank and then distressed with Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean ink, I then used the Simon Says falling snow stencil and added some Nuvo Glimmer paste.

Next I die cut the Simon Says with the  Ho Ho Ho die and added to the card with some glittery die cut snowflakes.  The Penguin stamp is from Heffy Doodle and I have coloured with Zig markers.  Lastly I mounted onto a red card blank.

I am adding this card to both the Die Cut Divas November challenge "Slimline" and the SSS Flickr group challenge "Creating for the holidays"

Have a great week

Summer Flowers

I can't wait for the winter to be over, especially as we are in a lockdown again !! I am missing sitting in the garden and looking at all the flowers, with that in mind I inked up my Simon Says "So Beautiful" stamp set and made this slimline card.

I stamped and embossed in copper powder on a slimline piece of cardstock and set to work colouring with my Zig markers. I also added some Cracked Pistachio ink over a stencil at the ends, next I layered up on some yellow cardstock and adhered to my base card.  Lastly I added the gold die cut sentiment also by Simon Says.

As you can see its another dull dreary day and I was unable to get a better photo!

I shall add this card to the current SSS Wednesday Challenge "Layer it up " and also the Love Handmade cards Flickr Group "Anything Goes Challenge".

Have a great week
