I have just had a lovely weekend as both our son and daughter came to visit. Now I find I need to make more Christmas cards as Francesca raided my card box. This is a really simple card using the Simon Says "Pile of Presents" die and some glitter card stock.
Adding this one to the Simon Says Flickr Group challenge, which is a Christmas theme again.
This second card is again using dies and and embossing folder from Tim Holtz , again a simple card to make. Well that's two more need to get cracking on some more.

I have a bottle of Vin Santo to give as a present and wanted to make a bottle label for it. I have used the Hero Arts stamp Antique Poinsettia which I stamped and embossed in gold three times then fussy cut the images and layered up. I added some seed beads to the flower for added sparkle. Then I stamped some extra leaves and coloured green . I have also layered some die cuts for added dimension. For the base I just used a large label die but by placing it carefully in my sizzix I added some extra length to the label. The sentiment is also Hero Arts.
I shall add this to the current Simon Says Wednesday challenge " Food and/or Drink".
Have a great weekend.

I had time to make a few more Christmas cards today, A simple Gold a White card made with the Simon Says Star Flower stamp and Gold embossed. Stamped the image twice and fussy cut to add the Star. Used both the Wavy Scalloped Die and the Stitched Suqaue die also from Simon Says.
This card also uses a Simon Says die , this time the "Stack of Presents" and the Canvas stripes stamp from Hero Arts.
I am adding both these cards to the Simon Says Flickr Group challenge which is "Happy Holidays".
This last card uses an older stamp from Penny Black, really love this cute image. I have cut a tag and then stamped on the image and coloured with Zig Markers. The background is dry embossed and I then added some bells and ribbon. Luckily I am going to hand this card to the recipient as those bells make it a hard one to post!
This card is for the current Simon Says Wednesday Challenge " "Furry Friends"
I have had a really productive weekend as I have also been painting my bedroom furniture. Hope you have had a great and crafty weekend too.

Had lots of time today to make a few more Christmas cards and decided to concentrate on the younger members of the family. The first two are made with a really old Penny Black stamp that I have. I stamped and coloured the image with Zig Markers then die cut and added some Nuvo drops for the snow. I dry embossed the back panel and layered up the image.
I made the second image into a shaker card, just love making these cards .
My last card is using a penguin image cut with my Silhouette Machine as someone in the family loves Penguins!! The die cuts are by Simon Says and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.
I am adding these to the current Wednesday challenge at Simon Says "Snow White".
Hope you are having a relaxing weekend.

Found some more crafty time today and decided to make a Thank You card for the SSS Flickr Group challenge. A very simple card using an older Hero Arts stamp and Simon Says "Stitched Square " die and "Thanks " die. Just added some pearls to finish.
Then of course I had the die cut Thanks left so quickly rustled up another card.
Again very simple using the Simon Says "Star Flower" stamped embossed in silver.
Need to get back to my painting now, nearly finished thank goodness!

We are still busy decorating so crafting has taken a back seat for a few days but I did have time tp make another quick Tag for the Simon Says Wednesday challenge. This die is new to me so I am having fun experimenting with it, again this is a very simple design, I just layered up the die cut with some glitter card. Decided on a round tag this time and added a pop of colour with the red bows.
Just a short post as I have to get back to the painting, have a great Sunday.

I have had a busy couple of weeks in the house as have been decorating our bedroom so no time to craft much. Just a quick post as I did find time to make this tag for the current Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.
Its a very simple shaker style tag using the Pile of Gifts die from Simon Says. I have kept it very plain just adding some red ribbon .
