Hello!
I am slowly getting my mojo back and made this card today for a couple of challenges. I used the Simon Says Flora Background and stamped in Bundled Sage distress ink onto some water colour paper. I then water coloured with a selection of Distress inks and some Zig Brush marker. Highlighting the flowers with a white Posca pen.
Before adhering to the card I added a strip of Vellum and then the die cut sentiment and some pearls.
I shall add this card to both the Simon says Flickr challenge and the Simon Says Wednesday challenge " Anything Goes".
Hope you all have a good week and Stay Safe!

Thinking of Spring!
I was keen to take part in the SSS Flickr group challenge "Stencils" again although the only stencil I have is called "Falling Snow" I wasn't keen to make another Christmas card yet so have had to improvise!! I used the Simon Says "Flower Card Wrap" die to cut a stencil and used that for my background, which I dabbed slightly with Bundled Sage Distress ink. The Flowers are also Simon Says and are from the "Even More Spring Flowers set". I stamped and embossed these in Gold before fussy cutting and water colouring.
I will also add this to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge this week as the stamp set is new to me. Also the Love Handmade cards Flickr Group challenge "Anything Goes".
Have a great week.

Flowery Birthday.
Had another play with my new Simon Says Stamp set called "Even more Spring Flowers" Love these blooms and they are great for colouring. Stamped onto water colour and water coloured with my new tube paints. I had fun practicing with these.
Fussy cut the flowers and leaves and layered up on an older Memory Box die just added the Simon Says sentiment embossed in gold and lots of pearls.
Adding this to the current challenge at the Simon Says Flickr Group.
Also the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Party Time"
I would like to wish all my readers a very Happy Christmas and a Crafty and creative New Year.

Two new cards!
I have just got back from a week away with my daughters school on a trip to the Purbeck Hills with 73 children, we had a fabulous time and the weather was kind to us. I needed to get into my craft room and have some relaxing time making a couple of cards.
This first one used the "Kaleidoscope Background" stamp from Simon Says which I have stamped and embossed in Silver and then coloured with Zig Brush Markers. I added the sentiment stamped onto velum and also a few pearls. I am pleased with the selective colouring as it changes the look of the image.
I shall add this card to both the SSS Flickr Group challenge which is "Colouring" and the SSS Wednesday challenge "Wedding/Anniversary".
For my second card I used an image from Sugar Pea designs that I coloured and die cut, I then made it into a shaker using My Favourite Things Shaker die. The sentiment is from Simon Says.
I shall add this to the Die Cut Divas challenge "Animals or Pets"
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Spring Flowers.
This is the view from my craft room today, the sun has come out but its bitterly cold so I decided to make another spring themed card.
Again I have used the SSS "Artful Flowers" and coloured them with Zig Markers to look like Primroses. The leaves are from the SSS "Spring Flowers set " not sure where the lattice die came from. Then just added the gold embossed sentiment.
I shall add this to a couple of challenges, the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Easter Inspired" and the SSS Flickr Group Challenge "Easter/Springtime"
Have a great week.

Pretty in Pink!!
We have had some really bad weather here in Dorset, snow and freezing rain which is very rare for this part of the country. I have been stuck indoors as the roads and pavements are sheet ice and its too dangerous to go out. So what's a girl to do, make cards of course!!
Here is one I made using the "Kaleidoscope Background" stamp from Simon Says and die cuts letters from, Altenew. I stamped and embossed in white then watercoloured with Zig Brush Markers, I then fussy cut an extra shape to add some dimension before adding the Die cut "Hi"and sentiment.
Here is a close up , I am adding this card to two challenges, the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge
Thought I would also share this card again using the Altenew "Bold Alphabet Dies", this card is for my Goddaughters little boy who is five today. It was very easy to make with the die cut letters and balloons cut using my Silhouette machine. Love this simple design.
Before I go here is a couple of views from the front of my house, so pretty but so cold and the sky is full of more snow!!
Hope its warm where you are

CAS card today!
Had a little time to craft today so went for this CAS card using on of my favorite Honeybees stamp"Country Blooms" and lots of dies. The circle die is layered onto foam to create some dimension to the card, also added lots of pearls for some sparkle. A much simpler card than the last post, back to my comfort zone lol!
Lots of layers here so I am adding it to Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Layer it up".
Have a great week

Stretching myself!!
I have been inspired by some cards on Sharon's Pinterest page, she does some amazing colouring with Zig Brush Markers and I wanted to have a go at her style. This is my finished card and I am not sure if I have over worked it but I am pleased for a first try. Need lots more practice!!
The stamp is Tim Holtz Flower Garden and the rectangle die is from Simon Says, I cut the vertical Birthday image with my Silhouette. There are a few layers here so I am adding this to the current challenge at the Simon Says Wednesday Blog.
Its another wet and dreary day here so colouring flowers helps to brighten my mood !!
Hope you are having better weather.

Thinking of Summer!!
This cute "Artful Flower" stamp from Simon Says reminds me of the Clematis I have in the garden, such a pretty flower that's why I chose this colour combination for my card. I am still trying to take part in Kathy's 30 Day colouring challenge and this is my card for Day 9. Used the flowers I watercoloured yesterday and added them to the card after stamping some leaves and flowers from the Altenew "Beautiful Day" stamp set.
I am adding this card to the current Simon Says Wednesday Challenge and their Flickr Group Challenge.
This card makes me think of Summer and it seems a long way off at the moment, the weather here is dull wet and very dreary. Hope you are having better weather!!!

Impressionism!!
I have decided to take part in the 30- Day Colouring Challenge organised by Kathy at The Daily Marker Blog. I am not a great colourer but wanted to play along as much as I can.
Here is my first card and its a water colour, but as I am not great at using water colours I decided to take the Impressionistic approach and just splash on the colour with lots of water not worrying too much about the lines. I am pleased with the end result, bright and cheerful on a grey day!!
For this card I stamped and embossed in white onto water colour paper using the Artful Flowers from Simon Says. I then just roughly coloured with Zig markers and lots of water. The sentiment is die cut and I have attached it to some Vellum. Then just added a few sequins for added sparkle.
I am going to add this card to the current Simon Says Flickr group challenge "Water Colouring".

Lots of Splatters!
I am keen to improve my watercolouring so decided to ink up this lovely Painted Poppy stamp from Altenew. I used Distress ink and then smooshed with water, I also added some blue and then splattered ink onto the page. The sentiment is from Simon Says.
I am adding this to this weeks Wednesday challenge at Simon Says "Splatter It"
The weather has improved a lot here today, no rain and the sun is out, time for a spot of gardening. Enjoy your week.

Painted Flowers.
The weather here has been awful today, heavy rain all day and its cold for the time of year. Its a perfect day to get in my craft room and have a play, this is the card I have just finished. I have used watercolour paper and the Painted Flower stamps from Altenew. I have stamped with Distress inks and then using water and a brush just smooshed the colours around. The sentiment is from Die-Namics.
Had fun with this one, I do like playing with watercolours!
I am adding this to the August challenge at Die Cut Divas "Anything Goes" .

Colouring Challenge!!
After seeing lots of videos I decided to treat myself to some Zig Real Brush Markers, I love to colour but need lots of practice and these pens looked fairly easy to use. Well I am thrilled with them the colours are really vibrant and they are very easy to use! I have been trying to play along with Kathy's 30 day colouring challenge and this is for day 7. I have white embossed my Tim Holtz flowers onto water colour paper and then just coloured. Very simple card but I love the bright pink .
I am entering this into this weeks Simon Says Challenge "Thinking of you" and also a2z scrapbooking challenge "Embellish it".
We went for a long walk this morning round our new village and came across these beauties, we live in the countryside now so lots of farming!!
Well of to experiment some more with my new pens,

Happy Birthday!!
I am hooked on this stamp at the moment, its from the Flower Garden set by Tim Holtz, the cherry blossom is coming out in my neighbours garden and I was inspired to use it again. I have watercoloured the flowers, but they are more red than pink I will have to have another go I think!
I am adding this to the Happy Birthday challenge at Simon Says.
My neighbours beautiful tree!!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Spring is Here!!
I have been busy practicing my water colouring skills, there is so much inspiration around at the moment and I always find colouring a challenge!! I have used the Tim Holtz Flower Garden set for this card , stamping and embossing the image in white onto water colour paper . I then set about colouring the images, I still need more practice but amk slowly getting there. The die sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.
I am adding this to 3 challenges, Simon Says "Anything Goes" and Stamping Sensations "One for the Girls" and Inspired by all the little things Inspiration challenge.
The weather is certainly getting more Spring like here so time to get into the garden and do some tidying. Have a great Sunday.
