Three Cards One Stamp!
Here are three Christmas cards I have made using the same Hero Arts Stamp "Winter Town", I also decided to stick to the colours kraft, silver, white and red. I like the homely feel of kraft and I also stuck tp a fairly CAS design. For this first card I have also embossed the card with a snowflake folder.
For this one I have added a red background and the town image has been stamped twice and I have layered it up on sticky dots. The Merry die is from Memory Box.
This is the simplest of all with the addition of some gingham ribbon.
I hope you are enjoying your week.

A Card and a Tag!
Here are a couple more projects I have made using my new Sizzix machine, this first card is a case of a card I made last year, this time I have embossed the background with a bark embossing folder and also used craft card for a rustic look. The Merry Christmas script is from a really old Hero Arts Set called Holiday Messages, and the Bauble is a Memory Box die. I am adding this to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Christmas" and also the Make The Day Special Challenge as it is based loosely on their sketch.
My second project is a tag using scraps from my basket, I have added lots of shimmer with glitter glue and liquid pearls.
Its turned really cold here but the sun is out so we are off to Petworth Park for a long walk, have a great weekend,

Christmas Baubles!!
I had such a surprise last week when I received an email to say I had won this amazing prize, its the Big Shot Pro which can take A4 card plus three dies for patch working. It arrived this week so I couldn't wait to use it and have been embossing and die cutting all morning. Here are two of my cards.
A sparkly bauble cut with a Memory Box die and layered onto a die cut rectangle (from Avery Elle) and then layered again onto an embossed (Not sure where this is from). I am adding this to the Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says.
Here is my second card using the same folder and bauble die, I just added some sequins and highlighted the line with a gold gel pen.
I am off to do some more experimenting. Have a good week.

Sketch Card Challenge
I decided to play along again with the challenge over at the "Make the day Special Blog" again, this month its a sketch challenge.
This is my card, I have used an older Hero Arts Snowflakes stamp for the background, stamping and embossing it with "White Pearls" I have used this Avery Elle "Double Pierced Rectangle die" to create the background and the smaller rectangular tag. The tag I have stamped with another older Hero Arts stamp called Winter Town. I have added lots of shimmer with my Wink of Stella pen although you cant see this in the photograph.
A little close up to show some of the shimmer.
Just sharing some good news, my son Tristan has just got engaged to his girlfriend Katie, I am really excited as they have said I can help with making things for the wedding, including all the invitations!! Its not for a while yet but my creative juices are already flowing!!!!

Hero Arts Scramble
On Saturday afternoon while hubby was watching sport on TV I had an hour or so to spare, so I took part in the 90 minute scramble over at the Hero Arts flickr group. Its been a while since I took part in one of these but the timing was right so I had a go. Heather set the challenge, which was to make some tags and used a recycled item on the tags.
I had time to make two entry's, the first was fairly simple as I had all the stamps still on my desk after making these cards. My recycled items are the tiny foam stars at the tops of the trees , I rescued these from a card I received last year. ( I am always saving bits off cards and presents)
The second tag uses a background cut from a card that I made and didn't send as I didn't really like it! I rushed this one too finish in the 90 minutes and the coloring on the Santa is not really up to scratch!
I am going to add these to this weeks Wednesday challenge at Simon Says.
It was fun taking part and I have some tags made ready for Christmas!
