Two cards One Die!!

I have this great Die from Poppystamps called Happy Birthday Background and I wanted to try both a male and female version of a card using it!!  For the top card I have die cut the actual card base and then added some Basicgrey paper behind the cut.  I then stamped and cut two Hero Arts butterflies and added to the card.

The second has been cut on a piece of black card and then adhered to the card blank, I then cut some of the letters with glitter cardstock and glued in place.  The name was cut using my Silhouette machine.

I am adding these cards to the "Anything Goes" challenge over at Simon Says this week.

Hope you are all having a great week.

New Home!

I had time to play again and made this new home card.  I am adding this to the Ombre challenge at A Blog Named Hero  Its a very simple card using distress pens and the Hero Arts Row of Houses stamp.  I cut the sentiment with my Silhouette machine.

I have only one week left of my summer holidays, I can't believe how quickly 6 weeks goes and we are back to school next week, the weather has taken a turn for the worse and it looks like rain all week!!  I was hoping to get in the garden before I go back :0(

Ombre!!

I am back in the craft room at last, but my mojo decided to stay on holiday!! I wanted to make a couple of cards for the "Ombre" challenge over at A Blog Named Hero to try and kick start my creative side!!

This first is a very simple Thank You card using a Hero Arts stamp and a few pearls.

This second card is a masculine Birthday card, I am running short of mens cards in my stash and need to think of some more ideas.

Heres one more photograph of beautiful Lake Garda in Italy, I love all the gorgeous geraniums everywhere!

Its a long Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK, lets hope the weather stays fine, have a great weekend!

Italy was beautiful!!!

I am back from my holidays and the rest has been great, my back is still a little sore but hopefully I am on the mend.  ( Thanks for all the good wishes ladies!!)

Here are a few of my holiday snaps of beautiful Lake Garda!

This is a beautiful Villa set on the edges of the lake.

Stunning Bardolino, it was a little overcast when we visited but still very hot!

Picturesque Desinzano!

We relaxed in the heat with a glass of Aperol Spritz!!  Delicious!

Now I have to catch up with blogland and hopefully get card making again!

Going on Holiday !!!

I am not able to craft at the moment as I have been suffering from a really bad back and shoulder, sadly I can't sit at my desk or the computer for long, so its been a while since I posted :0(

I thought I would just post a couple of photos of this Red Admiral butterfly that is a frequent visitor to my Buddleia plant, I am off to Italy tomorrow for a holiday and I am hoping the rest will do me good and I can get back to the card making when I return!
