Its really turned cold here again and the forecasters say we may have snow!! I need some sun and warmth and can't wait for Spring! With that in mind I dug out my Hero Arts Flowers and Dies to create this card. The base is embossed with a Tim Holtz folder then I carefully added some glue to some of the letters and added some foil for a bright gold effect. Lastly I stamped and die cut some flowers and leaves from the Layering Hibiscus set from Hero Arts. I have decided not to add a sentiment as I don't want to crowd the design.. This is the first time I have experimented with foil and I really like the effect, I shall definitely be using it again!!

Now to snuggle up by the fire with a cup of tea, have a great weekend.

Gorgeous, Sally - beautifully done, and the foiled lettering was a fantastic idea! We have a fresh coating of snow here today, but the weatherman promises that it will melt soon with warmer temps in the next weeks......we have to be patient!
