More pink!

I don't know what it is but I can't seem to get away from making pink cards at the moment, we have lots of pretty flowers in the garden and the pink makes me think of summer!  Made this using the SSS Cosmos Flower Background embossed in white and then blended with Raspberry Distress Ink.  The leaf die and sentiment is also by Simon Says.  Just added some sequins for sparkle.

I shall add this to the Simon Says Stamp 100th Flickr Challenge. "Anything Goes"

Found some old stamps!

I have been trying to play along with Kathy Racs 30 Day colouring challenge and looking through my older stamps to find images to colour I found these lovely Peeking Posie images from Hero Arts.  The date on these is 2006 definitely "oldies but goodies" I think!!

I coloured the images with Zig Brush Markers and then fussy cut , layering on some black card cut with the "Stitched Square dies from Simon Says.

I will add this to the Wednesday challenge at Simon Says "Bright and Cheerful" and also the challenge at A Blog Named Hero "Summertime Fun"

One image Two Cards!

I have been trying to take part in Kathy Rac's 30 Day Colouring Challenge unfortunately I have missed a few days but did get time today for Day 23 and also managed to make two cards with the coloured image Yeah!!

I used the Simon Says Cosmos flower background and stamped with Distress inks, then I dragged the colour with water and also added colour with my Zig Brush Markers.  Love the pretty pink, can't seem to get away from pink always my favourite!!  I then used the Altenew Alphabet dies to cut the YOU and layered it up on white three times. Just added the sentiment and Voila!!

With the bits that were left from the background I cut squares with the Simon Says Stitched Square Dies and made this quick Grid Card.  The sentiment is also from Simon Says!

 I shall add these cards to both the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Bright and Cheerful;"

and also the Simon Says Flickr Group challenge "Anything Goes".  Its the 100th challenge over at the Flickr group and there are two great prizes, why not join in !

Frame it!!

Another entry for this weeks Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Frame It"  I have used again the Simon Says " Cosmos Flower " image Stamping and embossing in Silver and colouring with Zig Markers. I have cut the Hexagon Frame twice and layered up, then pop dotted to the Tag shaped card. The background yellow is some patterned paper from a pad I have been saving!

Been away for the weekend celebrating my cousins 70th Birthday, such fun catching up with relatives but now I am behind with Kathy's colouring challenge!  Must get cracking again!!

Frame It!

Still using my Zig Brush Markers to colour they really are my favourite medium ! This card using the Simon Says Cosmos Background stamp is for Day 14 of Kathy's Colouring Challenge.

I stamped and embossed the image with Silver powder and coloured then die cut a frame (an old die and I am not sure who made it!) A CAS card , sometimes its good to have white space lol!!

I shall enter this in both the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Frame it"and the SSS Flickr Group challenge "Colouring".

After a rainy morning the sun is peeping through so time for a walk, hope you are enjoying your Thursday!

Sea themed Note Cards!

I was lucky enough to win this set of Sea themed images and could wait to ink them up, I decided to make a set of note cards and use my Zig Brush Markers to colour them. This is my colouring for Day 11 and 12 of Kathy's 30 Day colouring challenge. 

 I had fun colouring these cute images from Paper Smooches!!

I shall also add these to the challenge at The Divas that cut paper challenge which is Animals or Pets!! and the LOVE handmade cards Flickr group challenge #30

Two new cards!

I have just got back from a week away with my daughters school on a trip to the Purbeck Hills with 73 children, we had a fabulous time and the weather was kind to us.  I needed to get into my craft room and have some relaxing time making a couple of cards.

This first one used the "Kaleidoscope Background" stamp from Simon Says which I have stamped and embossed in Silver and then coloured with Zig Brush Markers. I added the sentiment stamped onto velum and also a few pearls.  I am pleased with the selective colouring as it changes the look of the image.

I shall add this card to both the SSS Flickr Group challenge which is "Colouring" and the SSS Wednesday challenge "Wedding/Anniversary".

For my second card I used an image from Sugar Pea designs that I coloured and die cut, I then made it into a shaker using My Favourite Things Shaker die.  The sentiment is from Simon Says.

I shall add this to the Die Cut Divas challenge "Animals or Pets"

Pastel flowers!

Not much time for card making this week as its been half term and our daughter (who is a teacher)  came to stay, we have been having fun getting out and about.

She went home this morning so I had time to make another card for the SSS Flickr challenge.

The theme this time is "Emboss it" and I have used both dry embossing and heat embossing.  The edges of the card have been embossed using my SSS "Stitched Square dies" and the flowers from the SSS "Spring Flower set" have been embossed in silver and then coloured with zigs.

I shall also add this card to the SSS Wednesday Challenge "Anything Goes",

No crafting for me next week as I am off to help my daughters school with their year 6 residential trip.  It will be a fun week although I am sure I will be very tired when I get back.  Have a great week.
