Weddings!!
My daughter asked me to make a wedding card for her friend who got married yesterday, she wanted it pink and white so I decided to use the Beautiful Day stamp set from Altenew. I stamped and embossed with Gold embossing powder then added highlights with Zig markers. Then I fussy cut and layered up on the card. The sentiment is computer generated and I then added pearls for added shimmer. I shall add this card to the "Anything Goes" challenge at the Simon Says Wednesday challenge blog.
Luckily the weather stayed good for the wedding as after the drought we have had some really heavy rain with high winds. Hopefully its going to improve next week.
Have a great week

Kaleidoscope Flowers!!
Had fun with my Zig Brush markers again and made another emboss resist card. Love the bright summery colours. The background stamp is the "Kaleidoscope Background" from Simon Says Stamp. I also cut our some extra shapes to make these flower like shapes for added texture.
Adding this card to both the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Anything Goes" and also the Simon Says Flickr Group challenge "Favourite Technique" which is emboss resist!!
We have actually had some rain this weekend after 2 months of drought, my poor flowers really need this downpour! Never thought I would be pleased to see rain!!
Have a great weekend.

A Christmas Shaker!!
Made this card with two challenges in mind the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Use a Die/ punch" and the Simon Says Flickr challenge#102 "Favourite Technique". Also its another card to add to my Christmas pile!!
For this card I used a new Die to me the SSS "Present Shaker" which I was lucky enough to win a while back and I have been itching to use it!! The "Kaleidoscope "background is also SSS, I have stamped and embossed in red and then smoshed over with distress inks. (A favourite technique of mine emboss resist). I enjoy making shaker cards and this is a great die for Christmas or Birthdays!!
Hope you are having a great weekend, its still very warm here, we are certainly having a fabulous summer this year.

Bright summer sun!!
I had fun making this bright shaker card, using the "Cosmos Flower" stamp from Simon Says and zig brush markers. It was difficult to photograph and capture the brightness of the flowers as the acetate kept reflecting.
Pleased with the end result though a perfect summer Thank You card for my daughter to give out. She is a teacher and gives out lots of cards at the end of term.
I shall add this to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and the SSS Flickr Challenge #101.
The weather is still glorious here we have had over a month of beautiful sun and no rain, the garden really needs the water but I am loving this weather!!

Fun in the Sun!!
This weeks Wednesday challenge at Simon Says is "Fun in the Sun" and its also the challenge at the Simon Says Flickr Group so I made this card with the challenges in mind! I stamped and embossed in white the SSS Star Flower Background and blended over Cracked Marmalade and Mustard Seed Distress inks to give the impression of the sunshine. I then die cut with the Wonky Rectangle Die and added the glass of lemonade. (This is from an older SSS set called "Lemonade")
Lastly I added a few gems for added sparkle and the sentiment was cut with my Silhouette Machine.
Have a great day

Summer!
I was lucky enough to win a bunch of stamps and dies from Debby's De Stash giveaway and this "lemonade" stamp set from Simon Says was part of the goodies. I was waiting for the right opportunity to ink it up and the current "Summertime Fun "Flickr Challenge at Simon Says was the perfect challenge!! Used Mustard Seed yellow distress ink for my lemons and the Wonky Rectangle die is also Simon Says.
With all the sport on I have found myself in the craft room quite a bit and have made this card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (Red, White and/or Blue) The stamp is "Beautiful Day by Altenew and I watercoloured with Zig Brush markers. just added the sentiment and all done.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend

My first Christmas Card!!
With so many Christmas cards to make I decided its never too early to start! and I also wanted to take part in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which this week is "Red, White and/or blue. Well I went with the Red and white perfect for a Christmas Card. This SSS Kaleidoscope background is so versatile and stamped and embossed in red sparkle it really shimmers ( can't see that in the photo). Just added a snowflake and sentiment, a very simple card!
Its a very busy sporting weekend here and my DH is excited, we have the British Grand Prix and England in the World Cup followed by the start of the Tour De France, I am going to be a sports widow so hopefully there will be lots of crafting done lol.
Have a great weekend

Just a quick post.
Just a quick post today as I am feeling under the weather.
This is an image I made during Kathy Rac's colouring challenge and I wanted to make it up into a card. I used my Simon Says Stitched Square Dies to cut the squares then layered up adding the sentiment also by Simon Says.
Just adding this as my last entry for the Flickr group's 100th challenge.
Have a great week.
