After making
my last card the glitter card I used for cutting my snowflakes made a fabulous stencil to use for the background on this card. I dabbed the stencil shapes with "Salty Ocean" Distress Oxide then embossed with a glittery embossing powder. I then added some snowflakes and gems and mounted onto a blue base card.
I shall add this card to the
current SSS Flickr Challenge "Let your stencils shine". Another Christmas card for my box Yeah!!
Have a great week.

Fun to see this beautiful card. I just used the same idea of the snowflake stencil from a die cut to create a snowflake on an alcohol ink background card. It turned out well, too! I will create some more this way!
Hi Sally - sorry I've been missing lately! Just love your stenciled snowflakes; they are so pretty in blue!! The added glitter and gems look amazing too!!
Beautiful Sally. So very elegant.
So gorgeous!
Actually like
this card over
the original one.

OMGSH, this card is gorgeous! Sometimes I like to study the photo of the card/project and see if I can figure out how they did it1 With this one, I needed to read your description and suddenly it became crystal clear! Excellent work - very creative and magical!
lovely, glittery card, Sally - love it!
