Flowery Thanks!
After a busy Christmas I had time to make this flowery thank you card using my new Simon Says "Even More Spring Flowers" stamp set. I embossed all the flowers and leaves in gold and coloured with Zig Brush Markers. I also gold embossed the card panel edges for even more shimmer brfore adding the sentiment and some gold Nuvo drops.
Love the shimmer on this.
I am adding this to both the Simon Says Flickr Group challenge and also the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.
Hope you all had a great Christmas and wishing you a Happy and Crafty New Year!!

Thinking of Spring!!!!
The weather here is so dismal that I needed to create some colour and needed some Spring flowers! I have just got this set from Simon Says Stamp its called "Even more Spring Flowers" and I couldn't wait to ink it up!! I have heat embossed in gold coloured with Zig Markers and then fussy cut all the flowers.
I then layered up on this gold embossed Lattice Die from Memory Box. Love this stamp and I am sure its going to get lots of use!!
I am adding this to the current SSS Flickr Challenge#112.
Hope the weather is better where you are.

Merry Christmas!!
I tried something a little different with this card, not sure if I really like it, The card base is a gorgeous plum colour but looks really dark in this photo! I used the Simon Says Holiday Frame die and created this little scene with a Memory Box Die, I coloured with Zig markers and added some Nuvo drops to create the snowy effect.
I shall add this to both the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Christmas" and the SSS Flickr group challenge "Die Cuts".
We are still decorating so the house is a mess and I really want to finish so I can put our tree up. Fingers crossed we will finish tomorrow.
Have a great weekend

More Pillow Boxes!
I needed a couple more boxes for some smaller gifts so cut some more pillow boxes with my Silhouette machine.
Cut the first one in Kraft card and added the white band, which I die cut using an older Memory Box die, I thought they looked a bit like snowflakes. Added some pearls and the red gingham ribbon before adding the tag with added snowflakes.
For this second box I have used some stiff patterned paper for the base and have added a peach band and some layered up glittery snowflakes.
That's most of my presents bought and wrapped now and my cards are all but finished. I really need to decorate the house now but we are busy painting the hall so it will have to wait for a few more days.
I am adding these boxes to the current challenge at Simon Says Wednesday blog.

Sorry the Snowflakes are back!!!!
I have definitely had a theme running through my cards this year SNOWFLAKES lol!!! Here are a couple more cards this time in a non traditional colour scheme. Love this pink glitter paper and have cut lots of snowflakes in it. This first CAS card uses Simon Says dies, Stitched Squares, Holiday Frames and Rina snowflake.
For this second card (a revamp of this card) I stamped and embossed in white the SSS Kaleidoscope background onto water colour paper. Then coloured with Zig Brush markers in pastel colours. I then added my sparkly layered snowflake and the SSS Holiday Frame die cut in a shimmery cream card. Then just added the sequins. Loved making these in the pinks gives such a great look!
I shall add both these cards to the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge "Die Cuts".
Have a great Sunday.

Matching card and Tag!
I have decided this year to wrap all my Christmas presents in brown paper with string as it is recyclable and most shop bought paper isn't. This is my first parcel wrapped and stamped in white with a few snowflakes. I then wanted to make a matching tag and card to brighten up the gift. I stamped and embossed in white some older snowflake stamps from Hero Arts, then inked up with distress inks. then added a few spots of sparkly stickles and some sparkly Simon Says Snowflakes. The sentiment is computer generated.
A close up , its very sparkly in real life!!
I actually made two tags on the second I added the die cut of the winter village, (not sure who makes this)
The card is just a larger version of the tag, and its very sparkly!
I shall add these to both the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge and the Simon Says Flickr Challenge.
Have a great weekend.

Gift Boxes!
Now my Christmas cards are all but finished I needed to make some little gift boxes, the pillow box is such an easy make and you can jazz it up in so many ways. The box was cut using my Silhouette machine and some Kraft card. I then used the older Hero Arts stamp "Winter Town to create the stamped panel, also adding the village die cut. Also stamped the tag and added a Simon Says snowflake and some bells and string to finish.
I shall add this to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Wrap it up". Had fun with this so am off to make a few more.
Have a great weekend.

Its a Blue Christmas !!
Yesterday I made a couple more Christmas cards and they don't have snowflakes on them lol! Got a bit of a blue theme going on though! For this first card I used the Simon Says "Kaleidoscope Background" stamp embossed in white on water colour paper. This certainly is a versatile stamp and can be used all year round. I lightly water coloured with Zig markers leaving the bottom corner. I then added some Poinsettias that I have stamped and embossed onto vellum and fussy cut before layering up. This stamp is from the Simon Says "Winter Flowers" set.
My second card is very simple, The dies and stamps are all by Simon Says, just embossed the tree in gold and added some pearls.
Adding these cards to the "Anything Goes" challenge at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.
Have a great week

And even more Snowflakes!!!
And yet more snowflake cards, these dies from Simon Says just keep giving and I love the effects you can get by layering them up. Snowflakes are definitely my theme for this Christmas lol!
This card was really simple, I just used a piece of gold foiled patterned paper for the background and added this gold and white layered snowflake. The sentiment is computer generated.
I was really pleased with this card so decided to rejig it a little and came up with this design. Wrapped some gold ribbon on the base Navy card and added the snowflake and then added the Simon Says Holiday Frame die cut over the top. This is quite a thick card so definitely one to hand deliver rather than post !
I shall be adding both these cards to the Simon Says Flickr group challenge and the Wednesday Challenge.
Its a wet and windy day in Dorset so I am hoping to spend lots of time crafting. Have a great weekend.
Hugs
Sally
