Dies and stamps!.
A quick, simple card for the challenge over at the Simon Says Flickr Group , the theme is "Friendship" . I stamped and coloured the Flora Background stamp onto some patterned paper and die cut , I then cut a square of the dotty paper using the Simon Says stitched square dies and layered up onto white card before adding the die cut sentiment. I am also adding this to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge.
Its another wet and miserable day here , really hoping summer comes back soon.
Have a great week

Friendship!
Made this card for the Simon Says Flickr Group Challenge "Friendship" using the Simon Says Centre Cut Flowers which I stamped and embossed in white before colouring with Zigs and fussy cutting.
I then cut die cut a square background card and embossed half with a wood grain folder.
I layered up the flowers onto foam tape and then added a gold die cut sentiment.
Hope you are having a good week , we are having a mini heatwave at the moment but are expecting some thunderstorms tonight, I do love a good storm!!

Summer Fun!!
Our summer seems to have disappeared, its cold and raining and I am missing the sun. Decided to play along at the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Summer Sun" to cheer me up a bit !!
I had these older Paper Smooches "Surf and Turf" stamps so decided to ink them up again and colour with Zigs , I then fussy cut. I smooshed some blue and green ink onto the card base and then layered up the pelican and balloons. The Birthday die is from Simon Says, it is a portion cut from the Birthday circle die. I have layered onto a blue card base.
We are expecting thunder storms today so I shall be in my craft room creating, hope the weather is better where you are.

Floral Birthday!
It was a wet and miserable weekend here in Dorset so I had time to play around with some textured backgrounds, I used an old "Happy Birthday" text Hero Arts stamp which I stamped and embossed in white. Next I blended with Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade distress ink to create the colour, I then added some embossing paste using the Simon Says Falling Snow stencil. Very pleased with how it turned out.
To finish I stamped and water coloured some Spring flowers from the Simon Says stamp set onto water colour paper and fussy cut them out. I layered up on the card with the die cut gold sentiment. A bright cheerful card for a very dull day!!
I shall add this card to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Metallic" and the Flickr group challenge "Anything Goes"
Have a great week

Adult Shaker!!
After making the child's shaker card yesterday I was in the mood to make another, this time a little more femanine. I had this Simon Says Flora Background panel already stamped, embossed and coloured and I knew it would make a great shaker. I added the shaker front and the die cut sentiment and then lots of glittery sequins.
I shall add this card to both the Flickr Love Handmade cards Challenge and the Simon Says Flickr group challenge.
Hope you have a great weekend

Childs Shaker Birthday
Love making Shaker cards, and I knew this " Critter Crowd" stamp from Simon Says would be perfect for one. I stamped and coloured the image with Zig markers and then fussy cut. The sentiment is also from Simon Says, I added these to my frame die cut and added lots of sparkly sequins for the shaker element.
I shall add this card to both the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Something Metallic" as my sequins are metallic. Also the Simon Says Flickr Challenge "Anything Goes".
Hope you are having a good week, our lockdown is starting to ease off a bit and we have been able to get out a bit more. Looking forward to some shops opening next week and our little town can get back to some sort of normality!

Christmas Kickstart Challenge
The Christmas Kickstart Challenge theme for this month is"Care to Tag Along" and I love making pretty tags for my Christmas presents, the perfect challenge!
Love these cute little reindeer from Clearly Besotted, they are certainly well used!! The reindeer have been stamped and coloured with my Zig Brush Markers and then die cut. Made the blended background with Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean Oxide inks and splattered on some white gouache. Added the white embossed snow and then pop dotted my reindeer on.
The weather has changed here and we are back to jumpers, hope it gets warm again soon. Thought you would like to see a photo of an amazing poppy field near where I live, so pretty in the sun.
Hugs
Sally
