Lets Squash it!!

There's a new challenge on the block set up by my blogging friend Jo and her friend Gail called "Lets Squash It" and its all about using those long forgotten Embossing Folders gathering dust in your stash ( well they are in my craft room I have loads that haven't see the light of day for years!!)

The first challenge is "Geometric and metallic" so I dug around in my drawer and found this lovely geometric square design folder, unfortunately I don't know who makes this one as there are no names on it but I love the design on the white card.

The star is made with a really old sizzix embossing/stencil that i have used with some Gold glitter paste (hope that counts as metallic) and then cut out, the die Merry Christmas is my Simon Says.

I shall also add this to the Simon Says Wednesday challenge "Anything Goes"

Another wet and windy day, so lots of crafting being done!!

Have a good week

Hugs

Sally

Wow, Sally, that's a beautiful card - the star looks great in the frame against the embossed background. I love white embossing so much as it really shoes off the pattern. Thanks for joining Gail and me at Let's Squash It, I really appreciate your support of our new venture, Jo x

Hi Sally, love that gorgeous square background and the dimension you achieved with the frame and butterfly. Lovely card. We have specifically asked to see metal sheets or metallic card for the metallic part of the challenge so this will unfortunately not be included in the prize draw. Hope to see you back again soon. Thanks for joining the fun at Let's Squash It. Hugz
