Card making at last.

After a few months off following the sad passing of my lovely husband I now feel ready to get back to card making.  Thank you for all your kind words and beautiful handmade cards following my last post, they were much appreciated. Cardmaking is a very relaxing and therapeutic hobby that allows my mind to escape, so perfect to help with my slow recovery.

My first card is for one of my favourite challenges "Christmas Kickstart " this months challenge is "Home for the Holidays"

I have recently got a Jelly plate and have made a few backgrounds with Oxide inks and various dies, this one uses a couple of Simon Says Snowflake dies pushed into the ink. I then added this older Memory Box die cut in glittery green cardstock.  My sentiment is made with a foiling machine.

I really need to get cracking on my Christmas card stash so this card is hopefully the start of my return.
