I want to improve my water colouring and found time this weekend to sit in my craft room and practice, I was inspired by
this card and decided to have a go. I think I need alot more practice yet!!
The stamp set is from Altenew called "Beautiful Day" and I used distress inks as watercolour paints.
The sentiment is by Simon Says.
Next I made a pink version again the sentiment is from Simon Says. I always struggle when adding a sentiment to a card and I am not really happy with this. So with the next card I am leaving it blank and just adding my sentiment on the inside.
For this card I used an old Hero Arts stamp called "Canvas Stripes" for the base, the scalloped die is from Simon Says. This time I stamped and embossed in white two flowers and then fussy cut so I could layer up the flower for more dimension.
I am entering all three cards into the current
"Splatter it" challenge over at the Simon Says Wednesday blog and also the
Simon Says Flickr Group Challenge #77.
Its set to rain again here so I am off to do some more practicing!
Hugs
Sally
