The Christmas Kickstart Challenge this month is "The Stockings were hung by the chimney with care"
I looked through my stamps and found this really old stocking stamp from Hero Arts so I stamped it five times and fussy cut then coloured with Zig markers.
I decided to make a small slimline card and made my background using the Simon Says "Outline Merry" background and embossed in white before distressing with Spiced Marmalade and Pickled Raspberry Oxide inks. I then die cut the Chunky Merry die also from Simon Says in Gold and gold glitter cardstock. I adhered it to the card base with foam tape for dimension.
I then added the stockings also on foam tape.
Another card for my Christmas stash which is always a good feeling.

Fabulous design, Sally! Just love your quintet of stockings hanging from the MERRY atop that yummy background!! Will definitely have to CASE this one with supplies I have!!
I like the non-traditional background colors - makes me think of lollipops (which works really well here in CA). The card is so cheery and well balanced. Love it.
