More Etched Flowers!
Just a quick post today as my cold seems to have come back with and I am feeling achy again! :0(
This is another card I have made using that fabulous Etched Flower stamp from Hero Arts, such and elegant stamp and it looks lovely embossed in silver.
I am adding this to the current challenge over at the Simon Says blog "Anything Goes"
I am off to my bed with some hot chocolate now.

Hero Arts Scramble
Yesterday there was another 90 minute scramble challenge over at the Hero Arts Flickr group The challenge was hosted by Paula and the theme was to make a Celebration card. Using the stame stamp and the same basic design I found time to create three cards.
As you can see I just reversed the flower image for these two cards.
For the third card I fussy cut two flower images and adhered them to the stamped base card, leaving the tips of the petals slightly raised for some definition.
As these cards all use silver I am also adding them to the current challenge over at CAS ual Friday.

Shabby Chic
I have been so inspired by all the beautiful cards Jacqueline has been making with the Postcard stamp from Hero Arts that I had to buy it and have a go myself. I decided on the Shabby Chic look so that I could enter it into the current challenge overt at A Blog Named Hero. I have used lots of new stamps on this one, part of my Christmas win over at the Hero Arts Blog. The Tweed background has been stamped in Old Paper Distress ink, I then stamped the Postcard in Wet Cement. The flowers were stamped and fussy cut so I could lift some of the petal points for a little definition. The butterfly is from the "Three Artistic Butterflies" set and stamped onto patterned paper in Dark Green ink.
I had fun with this card and feel as though my mojo is on the way back at last.
Hope you all have a great weekend.

Etched Flowers
I have had a weeks holiday from work as its half term in the UK but just my luck, I have had a really heavy cold and felt unwell all week. I had planned to do so much and also make lots of cards but my cold has affected my mojo. I am trying to get it working again by making a few CAS cards using the new Etched Flower stamp from Hero Arts. Love these CAS cards as they are also one layer so cheaper to post out!!
Three very simple designs but I am pleased with the result.
Hopefully I will find my mojo properly over the weekend and create some more.
Now I must catch up on a few of my favourite blogs!!

Another Valentine
Just a quick post tonight, I am just off to bed but wanted to share a Valentine card inspired by all Jacqueline's cards made with this new Tag stamp from Hero Arts. Its great for making a shaped card and fabulous when stamped on patterned paper. I have just added some script using the Italian Poetry stamp and a couple of Die Cut hearts. The pink heart is also stamped and embossed with white pearls powder for a little more interest.
One more week and its half term, I am really looking forward to a week off work.
Have a great week.

Paper Piecing..
I needed a couple of baby cards to add to my stash as a few of my friends are expecting to be Grandmothers very soon!! I decided to incorporate the cards into the Paper Piecing challenge over at A Blog Named Hero.. They are both really simple CAS cards but I think the cute elephant from the New Baby set is perfect for CAS. Here is my blue version using two shades of gingham paper and the edge of my Pinstripe background stamp.
This is the smaller pink version, I used the heart stamp from the same New Baby set for the balloon and covered it in glitter. The bottom is an off cut of the Tweed border stamp (I keep all my scraps lol !).

New Stamps!!
I was lucky enough to win some stamps from Hero Arts in their monthly challenge and the package arrived this week. I have been desperate to ink them up and yesterday I had some fun!! This card uses the new Tall Flowers, I stamped coloured with Copics and then fussy cut the flowers before adhering to the card edge. I am entering this card in the "Anything goes" challenge over at The Simon Says Blog.
The second card uses the Tweed patterned stamp as a background for this gorgeous die cut heart that my friend Linda sent me. I followed the spring card pattern from a Splitcoast stampers tutorial for the base, its a great design as it folds flat for postage and just springs up when you remove it from the envelope. I am entering this in the current Hero Arts Challenge "Fun Folds".
I am hoping to play with my stamps some more this afternoon. Have a great weekend ans thanks for stopping by.
