I decided to make these table treat boxes for Easter that can be filled with mini eggs, although I am a bit disappointed as my family wont be able to visit at Easter due to the Lockdown rules!
I found the pattern for the little box online and hand cut four in bright spring coloured card.
Next I embossed all the sides with an older embossing folder from Cuttlebug and highlighted the embossing with Distress Oxide inks.
I then made the labels by stamping this really old Rubber Stampede image in black and colouring with my Zig Markers. adding some glimmer paste to the seed head.
I found scraps of matching ribbon for the boxes and attached the label.
Really pleased with how they turned out and quite simple to make too.
Sorry for the photo heavy post!
I am adding these to the current challenge at the "Lets Squash it" blog "Boxing clever with floral embossing"
Happy Mothering Sunday to all the UK Mothers out there!
Hugs
Sally

Super cute treat boxes Sally. Love the different colours.
Marisela Delgado said: Hola, Sally! Warm greetings from San Antonio, Texas! ☺ These Easter boxes are so sweet. And what a sweet memory- remembering Rubber Stampede! I loved them and still have some of their stamps also. ☺☺☺ Believe me, you are better off being in lockdown and staying safe/healthy even if apart from family. Our governor decided to open the state at 100% when we are nowhere close to ready or vaccinated. Plus, selfish people don't do as they should. In a state of 29 million people, only 10% have been vaccinated. Not good. Spring Break will probably put us back into the negative again. I hope things get better for the UK soon so you can see your family again. Warm hugs, Marisela mariandmonsterd@yahoo.com
